Blowout accidents are serious disasters in the exploration and development of oil and gas fields. To strengthen the safety barrier of well control for the development of Cuiniao Oilfield, since 2022, the Tianjin team has spent three years promoting the construction, completing tasks such as the compilation and review of emergency support plans, the construction of core equipment, and the training of the Sino-Ukraine joint team, and has established a standardized emergency support base.

The base is equipped with a multi-functional workshop and 48 sets of equipment in six major categories, including fire sprinklers, obstacle removal and cutting, wellhead reconstruction, and emergency support. It is less than 3 kilometers away from all four well sites of Cuiniao Oilfield, which can ensure the timely mobilization of equipment and the assembly of teams to reach the site. Six employees from both China and Ukraine serve as the standing emergency duty force, regularly conducting well control emergency drills and providing technical support. They possess the full-process capability to handle dangerous situations from early warning to disposal.
