Our Best-Selling Valve Control System

Electric Valve Control System
The electric valve control device is used to achieve manual control, automatic control, and remote control for the valves, and to achieve smooth valve opening and closing operations. DPJA-1-5 is a control device developed specifically for high-pressure cyclone sand separators, which can remotely control the opening and closing of gate valves and throttle valves on the sand separators to enable the operators to operate the control valves locally or remotely for sand separation.

Hydraulic Valve Control System
The DPXA hydraulic valve control system uses electric hydraulic pump as the hydraulic source to control the opening and closing of multiple hydraulic flat valves and multiple hydraulic plug valves. In this valve control device, the operation panel is equipped with system pressure gauge, hydraulic pressure gauge, flat valve drive hydraulic pressure gauge, explosion-proof indicator lights for the opening and closing positions of hydraulic valves, explosion-proof three-position four-way electromagnetic directional valve, etc, where the pressure gauges and hydraulic flat valve and hydraulic plug valve opening-closing position indicator lights are used to display the control system oil pressure and the opening and closing position status of the hydraulic flat valve and hydraulic plug valve, and the explosion-proof electromagnetic three-position four-way reversing valve is used to control the opening and closing of the hydraulic flat valve and hydraulic plug valve.

Valve Control System Installation Requirements

Proper Mounting and Enclosure Selection
Control panels should be mounted in a location that provides adequate ventilation, protection from environmental factors, and easy access for operation and maintenance. The selection of an appropriate enclosure based on the environmental conditions and installation requirements is crucial to safeguarding the panel components and ensuring their reliable operation.

Wiring and Termination
The wiring and termination of electrical connections within the control panel should be carried out in accordance with industry standards and best practices to prevent issues such as electrical faults, short circuits, and poor connectivity. Proper labeling, routing, and securing of wiring within the panel enclosure are essential for maintaining the integrity and safety of the electrical installation.

Compliance with Regulations
Installers should ensure that the installation of valve control systems complies with local electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards to guarantee the safety of personnel, the reliability of the electrical installation, and the legal compliance of the system.

Testing and Commissioning
Thorough testing and commissioning of the control panel should be conducted to verify its proper functionality, adherence to design specifications, and integration with the water pump system. This includes functional testing of control and protection devices, verification of sensor inputs, and validation of communication and connectivity features.

Steps to Start up Valve Control System
1

Commission the Valve
The initial step before starting the valve control system is to commission the valve that the panel will be controlling. This can be done by following the manufacturer's startup procedure, which is supplied with the valve.

2

Lock the Valve
Before any commissioning of the valve control system commences, lock the valve in place. This usually can be done with a ball valve located above the bonnet of the valve. Locking the valve will ensure that all tests are complete and that the panel will control the valve as expected.

3

Check Electrical Wiring
The next step is to verify that the valve control system has been wired correctly by a certified electrician.

4

Turn on the Panel
Flip the breaker on the panel to start the valve control system. The screen and controller should turn on. This usually is indicated by a "System OK" or "DC OK" indicator.

5

Test the Solenoids
Once the solenoid orientation is set within the valve control system, set the control panel to manual control mode and energize the prospective solenoids to ensure correct working order.

6

Set Up the Solenoids
Before the sensor(s) can be calibrated with the valve control system, the range and units of the sensor(s) need to be determined. The range usually is stamped on the side or found in the manufacturer's spec sheet.

7

Match the Sensor & Signal
Ensure the sensor value(s) match the signal(s) displayed on the valve control system. If there is a considerable discrepancy between the values, this is often because of a range mismatch. To rectify these issues, repeat step 6 until values are accurate.

FAQ

Q: How does a valve control system work?

A: It uses sensors to monitor conditions, a controller to process the data, and actuators to open or close the valves accordingly.

Q: What are the components of a valve control system?

A: The electric valve control device mainly consists of explosion-proof control box, explosion-proof distribution box, remote control computer, and control software, used to realize local control (on the panel of the explosion-proof control box, and on the explosion-proof electric valve of the high-pressure cyclone sand separator), and remote control (on computer or touch screen in the central control room).

Q: Do valve control systems require regular calibration?

A: Yes, valve control system is crucial, providing confidence that valves are operating efficiently and safely. Regular calibration is required to guarantee systems and sensors gather accurate data when testing valves.
