It is reported that by 2025, the oilfield will have cumulatively produced 5.73 million tons of oil, gas and new energy equivalent, an increase of 490,000 tons year-on-year, successfully completing all performance assessment indicators set by China National Petroleum Corporation. It will conclude the 14th Five-Year Plan with a "double profit" achievement, injecting strong energy impetus into the comprehensive revitalization of Jilin Province.
As a crucial year towards the "681" development goal, Jilin Oilfield has directly faced challenges such as insufficient resource succession and weak asset profitability. It has implemented the "Three-Thirds" strategy, making precise efforts in the "three major battles" of maintaining stable crude oil production, increasing natural gas output, and advancing new energy development. Crude oil production has adhered to a benefit-oriented approach, innovating a three-dimensional potential tapping model of "large platforms + directional wells + short horizontal wells", successfully completing the production task in the old area of Songnan. The natural gas business has advanced in both old and new areas, with the old Songnan area producing 760 million cubic meters of gas annually and the configured area in southern Sichuan producing 1.15 billion cubic meters of gas annually, with a cumulative production exceeding 1.91 billion cubic meters. The new energy industry has accelerated its transformation, generating 1.47 billion kilowatt-hours of green electricity throughout the year. More than one-third of the self-operated oil and gas production areas have achieved green electricity operation, with the electrification rate rising to 36%.
Now, Jilin Oilfield is advancing with a strong momentum in oil, gas and new energy, continuously deepening reform and innovation, and strengthening technological empowerment. It is striding forward towards the goal of building a 10 million-ton green and low-carbon new-type oilfield, contributing more to ensuring national energy security and promoting high-quality local economic development.
