II.Working Principle

The working principle of the pump stroke counter is based on magnetic sensing technology:

Signal acquisition: Install magnetic blocks on the piston or reciprocating motion parts of the mud pump, and correspondingly install HR-3V magnetic sensors. When the piston moves back and forth once, the magnetic sensor will detect a change in the magnetic field. Signal conversion and processing: sensor converts mechanical movement to a square wave signal (low level 0 v, high level 3 v). This signal is transmitted to the main controller via a cable. Calculation and shows: the controller inside the microcontroller (such as 51 series) and timer/counter (e.g., 8253), by the signal processing calculation per unit time of pulse number (namely frequency, unit times/min) and the total number of pulse (i.e., the accumulative stroke). Data output: the final result, through the LCD display shows, for the driller's personnel to provide real-time, accurate pump stroke frequency and the total number of stroke, and estimate the instantaneous flow rate and the total injection of mud.

Multi-pump independent measurement and display: It can simultaneously measure and independently display the real-time pump stroke numbers (0-19999) of three slurry pumps (Pump 1, Pump 2, and Pump 3).
