SICHUAN, CHINA – Daqing Oilfield has reached a significant energy production milestone, with the cumulative natural gas sales volume of its Chuanqi exploration area exceeding 5 billion cubic meters. Currently, the exploration area maintains a stable daily natural gas output of 5.7 million cubic meters, delivering reliable and sustainable energy support for national energy security and stable social and economic operation.
Since 2018, Daqing Oilfield has strategically focused on the exploration and development of the Chuanqi exploration area. Adhering to the integrated development model of oil and gas exploration and production, the enterprise has steadily advanced infrastructure construction and capacity upgrading in the region. Multiple key energy projects, including the Heshen No.4 Block Pilot Development Zone, Maokou Formation productivity construction project, and Wusheng Natural Gas Purification Plant, have been successfully completed and put into operation.
Thanks to systematic project layout and optimized production technology, the daily natural gas production capacity of Daqing Oilfield's Chuanqi exploration area has achieved remarkable growth, soaring from 600,000 cubic meters to 5.7 million cubic meters. The exploration area is steadily advancing toward the annual natural gas production target of 2 billion cubic meters, continuously expanding regional clean energy supply capacity.
The continuous and stable growth of natural gas productivity plays a vital role in supporting local industrial production and residential heating needs. It effectively optimizes the regional energy structure, reduces reliance on traditional fossil fuels, and strongly empowers high-quality and sustainable economic development across the Chuanqi region.
