It is reported that the first injection and polymer injection well of Daqing Oilfield, the controlled-pressure well for drilling test - the Saker 45 well, was successfully completed on October 10, 2025. This well solved core problems such as polymer intrusion into the wellbore and leakage outside the casing through the controlled drilling and throttling method, and filled the gap in special process well technology of Daqing Drilling.
Key points of technological breakthroughs:
1. Controlling the drilling operation process: For the special working condition where the controlled injection pressure of the adjacent injection wells is as high as 10.5 MPa, by optimizing the installation timing of the rotating blowout preventer rubber core, the test depth, and the parameters of abnormal conditions, the well control safety is ensured.
2. Dealing with polymer invasion: Before the construction, by collecting the pressure data of the injection wells within 150 meters and conducting anti-pollution tests, a special emergency plan was formulated to address the problem of deteriorated drilling fluid rheology caused by polymer invasion.
3. Protection plan for leakage layers: Detailed parameters of the weakly leaking strata were refined, 24-hour shift duty was implemented, and emergency drills and adequate material reserves were provided to reduce the construction risks.
The completion of this well marks a crucial step for Daqing Oilfield in the field of complex drilling technology, providing core technical reserves for similar well constructions.
