Recently, the annual oil production from the tertiary oil layers and the post-chemical flooding in Daqing Oilfield has exceeded one million tons. This significant achievement marks a breakthrough in the field of enhanced oil recovery for the secondary and tertiary oil layers in Daqing Oilfield, providing a new source of production to ensure the stable output of the oilfield.
At present, the chemical flooding development of the first-class oil layers in Daqing Oilfield has been basically completed, and the reserves potential of the second-class oil layers for chemical flooding is decreasing year by year. The development focus is gradually shifting to the post-chemical flooding and the third-class oil layers. To accelerate the progress of the research on enhancing oil recovery in these two types of oil layers, Daqing Oilfield has established a special task force for the project of enhancing oil recovery in post-chemical flooding and third-class oil layers. Guided by the goals, problems and results, it implements precise development. Meanwhile, it breaks down professional barriers and builds an integrated research model featuring multi-party collaboration and multi-field integration, to fully promote the research and application of key technologies and field tests.
At present, Daqing Oilfield is concentrating on exploring new systems and technologies that offer better economic benefits. It is continuously promoting the iterative upgrading of engineering projects for enhancing recovery rates in the post-chemical flooding stage and in the three types of reservoirs, providing stronger technical support for the efficient development of the oilfield.
