Recently, the Heqi and Beiyi 35kV substations in the Maling oil area of Changqing Oilfield successfully completed the replacement of transformers. A batch of new energy-saving transformers have been put into use, injecting new vitality into this old station that has been in operation for over fifty years, and further strengthening the power guarantee for oilfield production.

The Heqi and Beiyi substations were built in the 1970s. The original transformers in the stations have long operation years, low energy efficiency and high losses, which have become unable to meet the current requirements for economic operation of the power grid. To achieve the "dual carbon" goal, the Clean Power Development Project Department has been actively promoting the replacement of high-energy-consuming equipment and has selected SZ type energy-saving transformers to help improve the quality and efficiency of the power grid.

This renovation project is of great significance and has a tight schedule. It involves adjustments to the operation modes of multiple power grids. The project team organized multiple rounds of on-site investigations in advance, with technical experts conducting detailed assessments of equipment conditions, load demands, and construction risks. They formulated a "one device, one plan" special renovation plan, clearly defining the adjustment of operation modes and the procedures for switching operations, and minimizing the power outage time to the greatest extent.

During the construction period, the Huanjiang Power Team scientifically planned the procedures for equipment removal, hoisting, installation and commissioning. They strictly controlled safety and quality, and established a full-process closed-loop management system covering risk identification, measure implementation, on-site supervision and personnel qualification review, to ensure that the construction safety, quality and progress were all under full control.

After the new energy-saving transformers were put into operation, they possess advantages such as high energy efficiency, good heat dissipation, stable operation and easy maintenance. They effectively reduce the transmission losses of the power grid, improve the reliability and quality of power supply, and at the same time lower the operation and maintenance costs, providing continuous impetus for the green and efficient development of the oilfield.
